Janani

Janani Narayanan is a Bharathnatyam dancer and is currently pursuing her career under the guidance of Smt Vidhya Subramaniam, Director of Lasya Dance Company, Cupertino. She also teaches dance there. She has given many performances in the Bay area. Janani also performs "Karagam" which she recently did in the Tamil Internet Conference -2002. She aims to continue learning, teaching and performing Dance as her full time career. Janani recently started "Nrityakalya Folk Dance Company" for teaching and promoting folk dances of India.  She is a founding member and director of Sanhiti a bay area dance troupe. Her hobbies include painting and acting. She also acted in Naatak's tamil production "Kaasu Mela Kaasu".
