If Billy asked ’Son, can you play me a memory’, he can rest assured that Kishmu will play it to the C. Would calling him a ‘key’boardist of Thillana be a bad pun?

Kishmu brought with him to Thillana his music expertise that came with years of playing. He started out with close friends in the BHU band and went on to play with ResonanZ. In Thillana, as a keyboardist, he orchestrates the melody of the entire song. As a Thillanite mentioned ‘pulling a Kishmu’ would probably mean going all those great lengths to reproduce a song in its entirety. His interest include Classical, Fusion and Jazz and off late is getting addicted to Herbie Hancock, Chic Corea, Joe Sample (to name a few).

He is most known for his MIDI sequences of Indian film music through his contributions to various groups like Tamilmidi (www.tamilmidi.com) and Geetnet karaoke project (www.geetnet.com). Apart from sequencing, he has been performing with other Bay Area music bands like ResonanZ and Thillana for over three years. He currently learns the Piano from Dr.Irina Prilipko Morgan and performs at adult piano recitals conducted by the assiociation of music teachers in the Bay Area. In addition to playing music, Kishmu enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
