Kumudha

Born into a musical family, Kumudha has grown up with fine arts as a way of life. Training under her mother Suguna Purushothaman in carnatic music, she has sung in light music bands since school. The stage is a familiar place and she has a ball! Compering, dance and fashion choreography are all passions since college. She has had a well appreciated role in compering and dancing for thillana. A nostalgic alumna of stella maris and iim-c, she has played eclectic percussion instruments including the ghatam in culturals. Jus enjoys beating up anything that makes noise! Carnatic music remains her first love. She has sung in several performances in India and in the bay area.
