Subbu

If timing be the essence of comedy, Subbu has mastered the art. His spontaneous wit, contagious smile, play with words, pranks make him a 'can't-have-a-party-without-him' person. Subbu was hilarious during Thillana's VaarayO Vasanthamey compering. The audience couldn't stop laughing as they identified with his meticulous list of the life-story of a desi immigrant in Bay Area. His love-affair with the microphone was so evident as he made the audience look forward to the compering interludes between songs. Subbu was highly appreciated for his role in Naatak's play Kaasu Mela Kaasu. Playing the villain whom people loved to hate, he toured with the troupe for their Sacramento and LA shows. Subbu also makes a good mimic. So beware, he might start mimicking you five minutes into the conversation.
