Starting in 2000 as an informal group of musically inclined friends, we have evolved into a 40-member troupe with a reputation of delivering high-quality Tamil music to house-packed audiences. The caliber of our musicians spans the broad range of music that they present. Most of our singers have classical training. Though the primary focus is music, Thillana shows are emerging into a one complete entertainment package. Our fold has increased to include dancers/comedy artistes/stage and special-effect designers. With each show a desire to innovate brings in new angles and thereby new people and new talents.

Our lives go way beyond just our 9-to-5 jobs. The driving forces are a vent to our talents and passion, the fun during the practise sessions, the adrenalin rushes during our shows, the thrill to see half the auditorium dancing to our feet-tapping numbers, the satisfaction of a job-well done when we read our reviews.

In addition to all this,there is a joy in giving, as all the proceeds go to charity. We sing our hearts out for voices that need to be heard.
